Mountain Bike Team

Welcome to the Fairview High School Mountain Bike Team! We're a co-ed club team at Fairview High School racing in the Colorado League. Practices start Tue, Aug 4, and we finish the season with the State MTB race in mid October. We have 100+ riders on the team, of all levels, and we have fun! Follow the team on Instagram!

Tue, Aug 4 - First day of practice! Make sure you've registered and paid the team dues

- Freshman - 5pm (meet @ 5pm, ride @ 5:30pm)

Reminders

Follow team emails for Trail Building opportunities & make sure to submit your hours. Remember, the team requirement is at least 6 hours per rider.

2026 Practice Schedule

Starting Tue, Aug 4, Tuesday/Thursday 5-7pm in the senior lot (check emails for practice time/location updates). Note that practice times move 30 min earlier starting the week of Sept 29 (bike lights required).

Red group: 5pm, Black group: 5:10pm, Silver group: 5:20pm, White group: 5:30pm. Please arrive 15 min before your scheduled departure time.

During practice the coaches teach riding skills, bike maintenance, bike safety, trail etiquette, sportsmanship, nutrition, race preparation & strategy. The coaches' goal for the team is to have fun in a safe and supportive environment.
